we need to come up with a retest payment, since we dont use points atm we need to make them work for it, should it be recruit 2 people, awnser 3/4 questions correct? and 10 posts?

this way we get recruits, we know they know they're rulings, and 10 posts to make sure they stay active? we dont need points atm cause we dont got a point system we can ask darksoul for help with that at a later time when he isnt busy.

Well I was actually thinking of something a bit different altogether you see, once people join lets make it that they have to earn a certain amount of points to be able to be tested. This would promote activity in the areas that reward points and more activity as you all know means a bigger happier academy.

people want retests now and since we dont have a point working point system we use i figure that would be the best way

Well here is another idea which could promote activity, instead of having the ability to be retested into the higher dorm what about we all have to progress through each dorm. Eg: Start slifer, pass Ra test get into Ra, pass Obelisk test get into Obelisk and finally pass the dominate test and get into dominate black.

I could create ruling tests for these dorms based on various knowledge. However all members would have to be reset down to Slifer Red.

As for the criteria I think:
Ra test: 20 posts, 2 recruits, at least 6/10 on the test.
Obelisk test: 50 posts, 3 recruits at least 7/10 on the test.
Dominate test: 70 posts, 5 recruits at least 8/10 on the test.

I think that that would flood the higher dorms. I don't think that's wise

How would this flood the higher dorms? If anything Slifer would be flooded, the higher dorms would be where all of of our most determined, active members are. The harder we make it to get into the dorms *which will progress eventually when we have more members.* the less people there will be in them.

i know where your going with it dark but we need to consider other things such as creativity , uniqueness, and experience i grade on how people react through my situation i put them in, and you should know i dont hold back on tests since you only made ra yellow im a tough tester i tell every1 i wont hold back if i have the chance to OTK kisara and gusto can vouch for that lol, but we need to consider them recruiting 1-2 people every time they wanna retest a certain amount of posts to stay active and atleast know rulings so we know we are not wasting out tme as testers admins mods... but that should all be needed to retest and along with some of your ideas but it shouldnt throw them in the dorm automatically

Well the theory part of the test shall test the ruling knowledge of the testee, all thats left is to create a rubric that we all agree on.

I think recruiting 2 people and doing ten posts (that are decent and are not just spam) sounds good

I think that the post thing should lead to a retest not a automatic rank up.

So if im a noob that can't duel for shiznick, I can walk in here post a lot and recruit a lot. I can google the questions and then Bam Im in dominate dark dorm

thats what im tryin to say BK that experience is a must there is a reason why people get the dorms they're in. anways i think recruiting is a must to make them feel like that have a responsibility. posts for making sure they're active and the last thing is up to you guys questions+duel or just duel

I dint think he ever said an automatic up in it not what i read it was for re-testing not auto up that would just be stupid

What I was trying to say was when we get the points system working, once they reach a certain amount of posts, recruit a certain amount of people and have a certain amount of points they can pay them points for a rank-up test.

That test would be made up of a practical and theory side *practical being a match, theory being ruling questions* IF they passed that then they would rank-up into the next dorm, if not they will have earn more points to pay for another test.

An automatic rank-up is seriously fawking stupid.
